We Are Saints

— My story

Still Alive in Name and Truth.

We Are Saints is more than a brand, it’s a movement.
It stands for “Still Alive in Name and Truth.”
It was born from my survival, from coming through domestic abuse, trauma, and systems that were meant to protect me but failed. This platform is how I turned pain into power. It’s how I made sure my voice, and voices like mine, would never be silenced again.

At its core, We Are Saints is a space for truth. For healing. For creative expression through survival.

We focus on those who’ve been through abuse, emotional, physical, coercive and who are either still in it, just out of it, or rebuilding. We give survivors tools, words, and platforms to speak through spoken word, music, affirmations, survivor guides, storytelling, art, and community.

It’s also about breaking shame.
Because society often treats survivors like they’re broken or responsible for what happened.
But we’re not victims, we’re S.A.I.N.T.S. Not in a holy, perfect way. In a real way.
We survived. We’re still here. And our truth is sacred.

We create things like:

• Affirmation card decks: One for those surviving right now, and one for those healing.
• Spoken word episodes: Each one telling a different part of the journey.
• A forum for survivors to connect and speak safely.
• Visual content and tools to support healing — especially for people who don’t feel seen in mainstream mental health spaces.

And we honour people who showed up when others didn’t.
People like Detective Yvonne Duncan, who stood by me when it mattered most. Her initials ‘YD’ are woven into our logo as a quiet reminder of real protection and real care.

We Are Saints is for every woman who’s had to piece herself back together in silence.
– For the mother who stayed for the kids.
– The girl who thought no one would believe her.
– The woman rebuilding from scratch, scarred but not defeated.

When I speak about We Are Saints, I say:
“It’s the home I needed when I was in pieces.”
Now, I’m building it for someone else.
